( Enzymatic Dehairing & Soaking )

POPLIME EDS ULTRA is a blend of selected proteases with very effective dehairing properties. Dehairing is achieved by breakdown of the outer and inner sheath and roots of hair. Skin mucoids are also hydrolysed resulting in loosening of hair.

APPLICATION

• 0.1% OF POPLIME EDS ULTRA based on raw weight is used in soaking wet salted/dry salted hides and skins.
• 0.4% - 0.6°%, of POPLIME EDS ULTRA based on raw weight is used for dehairing.
• Apply slurry/paste on the flesh side, pile and keep covered.
• Poplime EDS Ultra should be added before adding lime.
  
• Optimum pH at which Poplime EDS Ultra works effectively is from 7.5 - 11.5.
