POPFIX – L

POPFIX L is a fixative specially developed for leather
processing. It is a white free flowing powder based
on inorganic compound, easily soluble in water at
room temperature.

ADVANTAGES :

- More economical than other conventional fixing agents.

- Suitable as fixing agent for all classes of dyes
(acid, direct, metal complex and combination) at
same percentage as Formic Acid.

- Functions efficiently irrespective of the type
of tannage or raw material .

- Compatible with other chemicals used in retanning
, dyeing and fat liquoring .

- Effective fixing agent in all post tanning operations .

- Dye exhaustion characteristics are better compared
to other fixatives .

- Provides better uniformity of colour, penetration , fastness and physical properties compared to other fixatives .

POPFIX L has 100% active numbers as against 85% in
case of Formic Acid.

APPLICATIONS :

- Follow Conventional dyeing proess.

- Replace Formic Acid with POPFIX L in same proportion .

- Make 100% solution in water and ensure complete
dissoulution of material .

- Feed the solution in 2-3 egual installments at an
interval of 10 minutes each .
