POPSOFTENER AS ( Amino Functional Silicone )
POPSOFTENER AS is an amino silicon based on silicone fluids having amino functional groups on their structural backbone. It is ans exceptionally stable product and imparts soft, silky smooth handle to a broad range of woven and non-woven fabrics. Fabrics treated with POPSOFTCON AS show improved tear cross -linking agents and extra ordinary fastness properties.

APPLICATIONS

POPSOFTCON AS is a readymade product which can be used for obtaining softness in the regular pad-dry-cure or the exhaust-dry-cure machines. Concentrations ranging from 20 to 80 gpl are found to give satisfactory results. For super soft and silky hand 20-40 gpl of POPSOFTCON AS on padding, drying and curing at 150°C for 1 minute gives the desired end result.

ACTION

The amino functional groups in POPSOFTCON AS are responsible for the super soft effect obtained on fabrics. The solutions made with these amino fluids are so made so as to give highly absorptive phenomenon on fibres and painted surfaces. In the case of knitted goods, POPSOFTCON AS treated fabrics show a remarkable improvement in the increase in stretch and recovery properties thus exhibiting highly elastomeric type of property.
